According to news agency ANI, due to visibility problem at Delhi airport, Rahul Gandhi’s flight from Nagpur to Delhi has been diverted to Jaipur.

Fog becomes a problem!
The national capital Delhi is facing dense fog these days. According to the Meteorological Department, at 11:30 pm on Thursday night Very dense fog was seen in isolated areas of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and light to moderate fog was observed in isolated parts of Western Madhya Pradesh.
Flights are being affected due to fog
According to news agency PTI, Flight operations were affected at Delhi airport for the third day on Thursday (December 28) due to dense fog. Around 60 flights were diverted and many flights were delayed during this period.
Airport sources said that between 12 am on December 25 and 6 am on December 28, a total of 58 flights, mostly domestic flights, were diverted due to bad weather. Sources claimed that most of the flights had to be diverted because the pilots were not trained to operate flights in low visibility conditions.
Flights of these airlines were diverted
At least 13 IndiGo flights were diverted during this period, while 10 flights each of Air India and SpiceJet were diverted. At the same time, 5 flights of Vistara, 3 flights of Akasa Air and 2 flights of Alliance Air were diverted to Delhi Airport. Flights were diverted to other airports including Jaipur, Lucknow and Indore.
On Wednesday (December 27), Delhi Airport had issued a fog alert on social media platform X. It was said that landing and takeoff are continuing at Delhi airport, flights which are not CAT III compliant may be affected.
