Rahul Gandhi Bharat Jodo Yatra: Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi reached Lal of Srinagar. Here Rahul Gandhi hoisted the flag as per the schedule. As soon as the tricolor was hoisted, tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the Congress workers. Along with Rahul Gandhi, his sister and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was also present. Elaborate security arrangements were also made. The entire area around Lal Chowk has been sealed and a multi-layered security cordon has been made around the city centre. Rahul Gandhi will also hold a press conference at 5 pm today.
‘Today there is an atmosphere of hatred and division in the country’
After the flag hoisting ceremony at Lal Chowk, Randeep Surjewala said, “By unfurling the Indian flag from Lal Chowk, we have shown that neither hatred, nor division, nor division will work. Love, love and brotherhood will work in this country… Modi government Will have to answer for unemployment and inflation. Today there is an atmosphere of hatred and division in the country. 140 crore people are bigger than the Prime Minister of the country, be it Modi or anyone else… seeing this, people are the flag of this country. ‘I wish PM could see the thief of his mind’
In response to a question, Surjewala said, “I wish the Prime Minister would have seen the thief of his mind, then the truth would have come to the fore. This country is being broken into graveyards and crematoriums everyday. This country will run with employment. When a gas cylinder costs Rs 400 If it is of rupees, then the country will run. When pulses will be of 60 rupees, then the country will run. When the unemployed get livelihood, then the country will run.
Now the journey will go to Nehru Park
After Lal Chowk, the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ will move towards Nehru Park in the boulevard area of the city, where the 4,080-km march will conclude on January 30. This journey started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and has passed through 75 districts across the country.
Now the tricolor will be hoisted at the Congress headquarters
According to information, on Monday, Rahul Gandhi will unfurl the tricolor at the Congress headquarters on MA Road in Srinagar, after which a public meeting will be held at SK Stadium. Leaders of 23 opposition parties have been invited for this public meeting.
