In which a woman officer has been seeking deputation on deputation for more than five years. The Rajasthan government wrote several letters to the woman officer to return. Now the women officers are neither returning nor replying to the letter.

According to media reports, Poonam, a 2005 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, went on deputation six years ago in 2016. He got this deputation for 3 years to go to Bihar. After that he got his deputation extended for 1 year citing Corona. The governments of Central, Rajasthan and Bihar gave him this permission considering the special circumstances. Then his deputation was completed in October 2020.

The female officer again asked for deputation citing Corona but she was not allowed, after which Poonam went to the shelter of CAT. After which he again got deputation for one year but this deputation also ended in October 2021. Now a year has passed but IAS officer Poonam has not returned. Now this matter has become a headache for the state government, the Bihar government and the central government.
