Did Saawariya Seth Temple give 50 crores for the construction of Ram Temple?

After this we contacted Nand Kishore Taylor, administrative officer of Saawariya Seth Temple and asked him about the viral claim, to which he said, “This is fake news. No such donation has been made to Ram Temple by our Trust. Someone has spread this fake news.” When we asked him about the viral picture, he told that the donation box of the temple is opened every month. It was just opened on 10 January. That’s when this picture was taken.

Regarding this matter, we also contacted Kameshwar Chaupal, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust of Ayodhya. Expressing his inability to have independent information about any such donation, he said, “Donations can be made online and by visiting the pilgrimage area. There is no list of who donated how much. “All this work is done at the time of audit, which happens every six months.”

According to media reports, in the last three years the temple trust has received donations worth about ₹ 5,000 crore. The trust has spent more than one thousand crore rupees for the construction of the temple.

Decision

Our investigation makes it clear that the claim of donating ₹50 crore for the construction of Ram temple by Sanwaria Seth Temple Trust located in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan is false. The picture of the bundle of notes shared with it was clicked when Saawariya Seth’s donation box was opened. Its Ram Mandir Has no connection with. Therefore we consider the viral claim to be wrong.
