Bhoot Bungalow Of Bollywood: Shahrukh Khan Be it Khanâs bungalow âMannatâ or Salman Khanâs âGalaxy Apartmentâ, or Amitabh Bachchanâs luxurious house âJalsaâ, these are one of the popular houses of Bollywood. But at one time, there was a lot of discussion about the bungalow of Bollywoodâs first superstar âAashirvadâ. The reason for this was not its qualities, but its being cursed.

It is everyoneâs desire to live in such a luxurious and expensive bungalow. But it is said that whoever stayed in this house started facing bad days. It is claimed that three superstars lived in this house and the careers of all three were ruined.
These superstars were the first to appear in âAashirvaadâ
The first celebrity owner of âAashirvaadâ house was Bharat Bhushan. He was popular in the Hindi film industry in the early 1950s. He gave many hit films like Baiju Bawra, Mirza Ghalib, Gateway of India and Barsaat Ki Raat. During that period, he was compared with superstars like Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar. But his bad days started when he started living in âAashirvaadâ.
Bharat Bhushanâs career ruined
Within a few years of shifting to this house, his films started flopping. The situation was such that by 1960, Bharat Bhushan was buried under debt. After this he sold this bungalow and since then this house started being called cursed. Seeing this bungalow available at a cheap price, Rajendra Kumar bought it.
Performed puja to avoid curse
Rajendra Kumar also performed a puja here at the request of one of his friends so that he could avoid the effects of its being cursed. He probably got the benefit of Pooja and became successful for the first time after staying in the house. But by 1968-69, his films also started flopping and he started struggling with financial crisis. After this he also sold this house which was bought by superstar Rajesh Khanna in the 70s.
Rajesh Khanna lived in this house till his last days
Rajesh Khanna had given 17 hit films at that time. By 1975, Rajesh Khannaâs films also started flopping. His wife Dimple Kapadia also left his house along with her children. But Rajesh Khanna did not leave âAashirvaadâ. He remained in âAashirvaadâ till his last days in the year 2011.
âAashirvaadâ was demolished in 2016
After Rajesh Khanna, his house was bought by a businessman in the year 2014. But after two years in 2016, it was demolished and razed to the ground. After all these news came out, it got the tag of âhaunted bungalowâ.
