Rajiv Gandhi Birth Anniversary Celebration In Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray targeted bjp

Rajiv Gandhi Birth Anniversary Celebration In Maharashtra: On Tuesday (August 20), a Sadbhavna Diwas Sankalp Rally was organized in Mumbai on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Speaking at this event, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party chief Uddhav Thackeray attacked the ruling party.

During his speech at the event, Uddhav Thackeray said, “Today I also pinched myself to see if I really attended the Congress program. Then I wore that Congress scarf, I wore it deliberately so that its photo would come out tomorrow. I used to oppose the Congress earlier but there was no feeling of revenge or hatred in my heart. Balasaheb used to make harsh comments on Rajiv Gandhi but ED CBI never came to our house then. Rajiv Gandhi never did politics with a feeling of revenge.”

He said, “Rajiv Gandhi was a civilized and well behaved person. Rajiv Gandhi also brought the vaccine but did not put his photo on it. He gave Rahul Gandhi a back seat on 15 August. He does not have a big heart. Politics does not happen with a big heart now. The Badlapur incident happened, we condemn it. But now we will not speak on this but on the Bengal incident. I also strongly condemn the Bengal incident, strict action should be taken against the culprits.”

Speaking at an event organised here to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Uddhav Thackeray further said, “The undivided Shiv Sena and the Congress were arch rivals in the past, but the two parties never acted with vengeance against each other. Thackeray also said that central agencies never knocked on the doors of Shiv Sena leaders even though party founder Bal Thackeray had said harsh things about the then Prime Minister.”

Former Chief Minister Thackeray, while targeting the Narendra Modi-led central government, said that as a Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi never backed down from facing challenges, while the current government is not even worried about the violence in Manipur and Kashmir. Let us tell you that in the program, Sharad Pawar was also seen wearing a Congress scarf around his neck.
