Rajnath Singh In Arunachal Pradesh Said India Has Always Been Against War But This Should Not Be Taken For Granted


Rajnath Singh Arunachal Pradesh Visit: After the skirmish with the Chinese Army in Tawang, the Defense Minister, who went on a tour of Arunachal Pradesh, has bluntly said on LAC that if war is imposed on the country, we will not back down from fighting. Referring to the Tawang incident, the Defense Minister said that our soldiers effectively confronted the enemy.

In the inauguration ceremony of the bridge built by Border Road Organization (BRO) in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh clearly said that India has always been against war. Prime Minister recently Narendra Modi Referring to PM’s statement that this is not the era of war, Rajnath said that we do not believe in war but if it is imposed on us, we will fight.

The Defense Minister said that the development work in the border areas is the topmost priority of the Modi government. Its objective is to build a strong and self-reliant New India to effectively meet the future challenges arising due to the ever-evolving global scenario.

He said that today the world is witnessing many wars and conflicts. Through development works in the border areas, we are ensuring that the country remains safe from all threats. During this ceremony, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu, local MP Tapir Gao, Commanding-in-Chief of the Army’s Eastern Command Lt. Gen. RP Kalita and Commander of 3 Corps, Lt. Gen. RC Tiwari were also present.

Without naming the clash with the Chinese Army in Tawang, Rajnath Singh said that recently our army overcame the situation with valor and promptness by effectively confronting the enemy on the northern sector (China border). The Defense Minister said that this was possible only through necessary infrastructure development on the border.

On Tuesday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the bridge built by the Border Road Organization (BRO) in Siang district. This bridge built on Siyom river is of class-70 steel. Tanks and cannons can also be easily taken to the border on this bridge, which is about 100 meters long.

Apart from this, Rajnath Singh also virtually inaugurated 21 other bridges prepared by BRO in 7 different states of the country. Four of these other bridges are in Arunachal Pradesh, 8 in Ladakh, 4 in Jammu and Kashmir, 3 each in Sikkim, Punjab and Uttarakhand and two in Rajasthan. Apart from this, 03 telemedicine-nodes in Ladakh and one in Mizoram were also e-inaugurated. Rajnath Singh said that in true sense BRO is the country’s ‘Bro’ i.e. brother.
