Rakesh Kumar makes amazing chaat, gave it to John and Raina at Dhoni’s wedding; it’s a topic of discussion everywhere

One of them is Rakesh Kumar from Dehradun, who makes and serves fruit chaat to people in the city. His chaat came into the limelight when he served his food to people at the wedding of former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was specially invited so that delicious chaat could be served to guests who had come from far and wide.

Rakesh, while sharing his experience, says that he was not told that he has to make chaat at Dhoni’s wedding. He had never even imagined that he would make chaat with his own hands and serve it to the cricket players and actors whom he sees on TV. He has seen big stars like Suresh Raina, RP Singh and John Abraham very closely. The special thing about his chaat is that after frying the potatoes, he makes it with seasonal fruits and prepared spices.

This is how Rakesh’s chaat became famous
Rakesh Kumar told that he used to make chaat first in Delhi. But due to the metro work, his shop was shifted from there. After this, he went to Dehradun in the year 2001 and started making and serving chaat. You can guess how much his fruit chaat is liked in Dehradun from the fact that when Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi got married in 2010 at Vishranti Resort in Dehradun, he won the hearts of the guests who came to Dhoni’s wedding with his taste. Rakesh was not told that it was Dhoni’s wedding. Cricket lover Rakesh was very happy when he saw cricket players and actors so closely.

John Abraham and Suresh Raina enjoyed chaat
Rakesh says that a caterer named Virendra Kumar had told him that there was a VIP wedding and he had to prepare and serve the best chaat. A car came to pick him up. When he reached the resort, people were shouting Dhoni Zindabad slogans. He was not able to understand, but when he slowly started looking at everyone, he understood. He told that John Abraham and Suresh Raina came to his stall and enjoyed the chaat. Rakesh says that he watches every IPL and he saw every ritual in the wedding including the wedding rounds. He felt very good seeing many cricketers and actors.
