Ingredients for Paneer Butter Masala
Paneer cubes – 2 cups
Onion – 1-2
Tomato – 3-4
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Bay leaf – 1
Green chili – 2
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Cashew – 2 tbsp
Milk – 1/2 cup
Cream/malai – 2 tbsp
Kasuri methi – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste

How to make paneer butter masala curry
To make Paneer Butter Masala, first take paneer and cut it into one-inch square pieces. Now chop onion, ginger and garlic as well and prepare a paste by grinding them in a mixer. Now take cashews and soak them in water and keep them aside for 15 minutes. When the cashews become a little soft, put them in the mixer and grind them by adding 1 tablespoon of water and take out the paste and keep it in a bowl.
Similarly grind tomatoes and prepare its puree. After this, heat a pan on medium flame and put oil and butter in it. When the butter melts, add onion paste and bay leaves and fry till the color of the onion turns light brown. After this add long chopped chillies and after some time add cashew paste to the gravy and mix. Now cook the gravy for 2-3 minutes, after that add tomato puree.

Now with the help of a spoon, let the paneer marinate well with the gravy and let it cook.
