Saffron threads – 1 pinch
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – as required
Milk – 2 tbsp

How to make Mawa Kesar Barfi
Fresh Mawa should always be used to make Mawa Kesar Burfi. First of all, take mawa and scramble it with the help of hands. After that heat a pan on medium flame. When the pan becomes hot, put mawa in it and roast it while stirring until the mawa becomes lightly roasted and a wet smell starts coming from it. Meanwhile, take a bowl of hot milk, add half a pinch of saffron threads to it, dissolve it and cover it and keep it aside.

It will take up to 15 minutes to bake the mawa properly. Now add sugar as per taste to the roasted mawa, mix well and cook until the sugar gets mixed with the mawa. After this, add cardamom powder to the mixture and mix. After this, turn off the gas and leave the mixture to cool.
