Anti-social elements have pelted stones at the procession taken out on the occasion of the consecration of Shri Ram in Darbhanga. Four bikes were damaged in this stone pelting. As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and pacified the matter. The incident took place in Bhapura village of Singhwada police station area.
Stone pelting suddenly started in the procession
Regarding the incident, police say that Shri Ram Shobha Yatra was traveling shouting slogans. Then some people started pelting stones at the Shobha Yatra, in which many people got injured. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Singhwada police station reached the spot and somehow pacified the matter. On receiving information about the incident, City SP Sagar Kumar also reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
The atmosphere was spoiled due to DJ playing
Local people say that a bike procession with a DJ vehicle was taken out from Kalwara for the consecration ceremony of Arodhya Ram temple. As soon as the procession reached Bhapura from Mahisri, some people raised objection regarding the route, after which an argument started between the two parties and then a dispute broke out between the two. The intervention of the local public representative pacified the matter and the procession returned to Kalwara. On receiving the information, the police explained to the youth who were taking out the procession in Kalwara and prohibited them from taking out the procession in any other Panchayat without orders. As soon as the police returned, the bike procession again reached Bhapura village with the DJ. Local people allege that when the DJ of the procession stopped playing an objectionable song in the locality of a particular community, people from one side got angry and started blocking the DJ vehicle. Due to this obstruction, the glass of the car was broken. During this period two bikes were also damaged.
The procession was taken out without notice
On receiving information about the incident, a large number of police forces including City SP Sagar Kumar, Sadar SDO Chandrima Atri, SDPO Amit Kumar, Kamtaul Circle Inspector Yogendra Ravidas reached Bhapura and pacified the matter after talking to the public representatives of Bharhulli and Bhawanipur Panchayat. Police station incharge Shailesh Kumar said that the procession was taken out without any information. There is no information about anyone being injured in the incident. The miscreants who created the blockage are being identified. Efforts are being made to create a peaceful environment by holding talks with both the sides. Police is taking immediate action in the matter. The situation is completely under control. Police force has been deployed near the incident site.
