Our city became Rammay on 21st January, a day before the consecration of Lord Ramlala in Ayodhya on Monday. A huge crowd gathered in the Ram Rath Yatra that started from Shri Varshneya Temple. The roads were covered with rain of flowers. From the rooftops and balconies of the houses, people were seen eager to take a look at this Rath Yatra and the grand tableaux included in it. Along with showering flowers, Lord Ram was welcomed by performing aarti, mangalgeet and kirtan. A scene like Diwali was visible due to fireworks.
Lord Ram, Mata Janaki, Lakshman and Veer Hanuman were seated on the Ram Rath. As the chariot moved towards Achaltal, the enthusiasm of the Ram devotees was increasing. Rajaram Mitra’s eyes filled with tears while showering flowers. He said that today the dream of Kar Sevaks has been fulfilled. Women were dancing with drums and majira. A group of eunuchs also participated in the yatra, dancing and singing, hailing Lord Shri Ram. The yatra reached Ramlila Maidan via Railway Road via Mamu Bhanja, Agra Road, Dubey Padav in five hours. Concluded at Varshneya Temple.
Became the charioteer of Ram Rath Yatra
There was a competition among the people to pull the chariot of Lord Ram. Lala, Metropolitan President Engineer Rajeev Sharma, General Secretary Shivnarayan Sharma, Mukesh Rajput, Nikhil Maheshwari, Pushpendra Pachauri, Gaurav Sharma, Pallavi Navman, Ruchi Gotewal, Pushpendra Jadaun, Daya Sharma, Lakshmi Sharma, Jai Yadav etc. participated. Shri Ramcharit Manas was recited in jail
Prabhat pheri was taken out with Ramcharitmanas from the district jail premises. After this the recitation of Akhand Ramayana started. Arrangements have been made to show the telecast of Shri Ram Pran Pratishtha on Monday. For this, two big LEDs have been installed in the jail. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the prisoners regarding this. Due to Ramotsav, the meeting will be completely closed on Monday. In this series, today a group of Ram devotees, with the help of Diamond Kitty, RSS Metropolitan President Vikrant, Sanjeev Suman, Praveen Mangala Ozone City, Dr. Rajesh Aggarwal distributed Prasad along with recitations of Ramcharitmanas, Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa. Senior Jail Superintendent Brijendra Singh Yadav, Hindu Yuva Vahini, District President Sanjeev Gaur, Krishna Varshney, Lokesh, Rajjan, Aditya, Jitendra Dubey, Lalit Verma, Bhima, Vinod, Kulsuman Goyal, Dr. Rajiv Kumar Agarwal, Atul Agarwal, Mannoj Kumar Agarwal, There was cooperation from Meera Goyal etc.
Under the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program, a padyatra was taken out by the Sankat Mochan group. In which Veer Bajrangi was present.
