The government said that in the name of helping the poor, some people appeal for financial help during Ramadan, in such a situation people fall into their trap.

What did the government spokesperson say?
An official spokesperson of the royal office said that the instructions have been issued out of concern for the safety of charitable works and increasing sources of income. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the government spokesperson has expressed apprehension that people spread misleading messages on social media and also make phone calls to extort money from citizens and expatriates during the month of Ramadan, and people have been alerted about this.

Action will be taken if rules are not followed
In this order of the government, guidelines have also been issued regarding donations abroad. According to this, donations abroad can be made only through King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KS Relief). The royal statement said that punitive action will be taken against those found acting contrary to these rules.
