How to make Bhog Laddus

– Before making gram flour laddus, you should understand one thing. The most important thing in gram flour laddu is proportion. If you are taking 4 cups of gram flour then there will be 1 cup of ghee and 2 cups of sugar. You have to understand this ratio.
– First of all, place the pan on the gas and fry the gram flour lightly. The benefit of this will be that if the gram flour is old then its smell will go away.
– At this stage, if you want to increase the light yellow color in your laddus, then you can also add a pinch of turmeric in it.
– After lightly roasting the gram flour, now add ghee to it. Keep the gas on medium and fry the gram flour slowly on low flame. Keep stirring it continuously.
– When you forget the gram flour, you have to stir it continuously. When you smell the aroma of gram flour being roasted, stop the pan and take out the gram flour in a wide vessel.
– Sugar will be added only after the gram flour cools down to room temperature. If you add sugar while it is still hot, the sugar will melt and your laddus may become hard.
– When the gram flour is cooling down, add cardamom powder to it. If you want, you can also add dry fruits in the process of cooling the gram flour.
– When the gram flour comes to room temperature, then add sugar to it and start collecting it with hands. You must keep some ghee and some sugar. So that if there is any problem in tying the laddu then these can be used.
– Now tie these laddus and offer them to Ramlala.
