Ratan Tata’s Incomplete Love Story: Yesterday i.e. on 9th October, India’s renowned industrialist Ratan Tata, honorary chairman of Tata Group, passed away late night. 86 year old Ratan Tata was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to ill health. Where he took his last breath. Ratan Tata is remembered not only in the industry but also for the work he has done for humanity.
Ratan Tata did not marry in his entire life. But there came a time in his life when he was very close to getting married. He was in love with a girl and was going to marry her. But then such a turn came in his life. Their love story remained incomplete. Ratan Tata himself had told why his love story remained incomplete.
Fell in love with a girl in America
Ratan Tata will be remembered as one of the best industrialists in the whole world. Ratan Tata took Tata Group to new heights with his hard work. Where everyone knew Ratan Tata as an industrialist. But many people could not know Ratan Tata personally. There was a deep reason behind why Ratan Tata did not marry throughout his life. He told about this openly during an interview given to Bollywood actress Simi Grewal in the year 1997.

While talking to Simi Grewal in an interview, Ratan Tata had told that in the 1960s, after studying in America, he had been working there. During that time he met a girl with whom he fell in love. He was going to marry that girl. But then his grandmother Nawazbai Tata called him back to India.

India-China war did not allow love to be fulfilled
Ratan Tata was raised by his grandmother and he was very close to his grandmother. This was the reason why when his grandmother asked him to come back to India, he could not refuse her. After this, Ratan Tata felt that the girl he loved would also come to India and both of them would get married.
But meanwhile in the year 1962, there was a war between India and China. For this reason the girl’s parents did not send their daughter to India. And because of his grandmother, Ratan Tata could not go back to America. This was the reason that their love story remained incomplete.
