Actress Faced Domestic Violence: Actress Rati Agnihotri is one of the most beautiful actresses in the industry. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Ek Duje Ke Liye. In this film, Rati Agnihotri impressed everyone with her acting. Rati earned a lot of name in the industry. But she got married at the peak of her career. But she suffered pain in this marriage for years.

She had settled down with businessman Anil Virwani. The actress’ parents were not happy with her relationship with Anil. But Rati dated Anil and got married in 1985. After this, Rati took a break from the industry. Within a year of marriage, Rati came to know about Anil’s reality. In an interview, Rati told that Anil used to beat her a lot and she used to run here and there in the house to save herself.
She suffered the beatings of her husband for 30 years
In 1986, Rati gave birth to a son, Tanuj. Even after the birth of the son, Anil’s behavior did not change. He used to beat Rati even then. Rati suffered domestic violence for 30 years. But then in 2015, she showed courage and decided to break this marriage.
According to the Times of India report, in 2015, when Rati’s son Tanuj was in Pune for shooting, the actress started feeling scared due to Anil’s anger. Rati had said- I started thinking that I am a 54-year-old woman and I will slowly become old and weak and one day I will die due to beating.
After this, Rati filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband and divorced Anil. Now Rati Agnihotri spends most of her time in Poland. Here she runs a restaurant with her sister Anita.
