‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ Movie Review: Nawazuddin Siddiqui supports the faltering story

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ has been released on Zee5 today (28 June). The story of the film is based on Rautu, a small town in Uttarakhand, where a warden Sangeeta (Narayani Shastri) suddenly dies in a blind school. Although the school authorities call it a natural death, but a staff member of the school informs the police about it and everyone is shocked when the police arrive at the school.

The school principal says that the warden’s death was natural, what can the police do in this, but investigation officer Deepak Negi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) wants to get the body post-mortem done, but after the order comes from above, the body is released. Then Deepak gets a video and he sees something in it, after which he feels that the warden did not die a natural death, but he was murdered.

The story of the film gets entangled between natural death and murder. Then Deepak Negi tries to solve the complicated death of the warden. He moves his investigation forward rapidly. Is the warden’s death a murder or a natural death? Now you will get the answer to this question after watching the entire film. By the way, the story of the film does not have as much strength as a suspense film should have.

While watching the film, you will feel bored many times because the first part of the film is very slow. However, the pace of the film seems to slow down in the second half. If we talk about acting, Nawazuddin will be seen winning your heart once again with his brilliant acting. He will be seen handling the weak story of this film with his acting.

Apart from Nawazuddin, Atul Tiwari, Narayani Shastri, Rajesh Kumar have also done a great job in the film. All the star cast fits perfectly in their respective characters. Along with suspense in the film, you will also get a chance to laugh sometimes. Now if we talk about direction, you will also like the name of Anand Surpur. He has presented the beauty of Uttarakhand well in the film. He has shown some scenes in such a wonderful way that they give peace to your eyes. Overall, you can watch this film once with your whole family on Zee5. 2.5 stars from me.
