The actress told in an interview given to Hindustan Times that – “Even today, Karan keeps asking me for answers for not doing that role. I tell him that friend, you can make me do anything else. Not only this, there is another film of Dharma Productions. There was a film which Varun Sood and I were going to do together but unfortunately it could not happen.
For this reason Raveena rejected the film

During this time he had told that till date Karan has not forgiven me for not doing anything. But I did not understand at that time. Kajol and I were each other’s competitors at that time.
