He had the surgery done in September. Shahbaz Ahmed can be given a chance in place of Jadeja. However, official information regarding this has not been revealed yet.

According to a news from ESPN Cricinfo, Jadeja has been ruled out of the ODI series played between India and Bangladesh. They haven’t quite fit yet. Jadeja has also been included in the team for the Test series. There is doubt about his playing in this also. If Jadeja is not fit, then Uttar Pradesh spin bowler Saurabh Kumar can be given a chance for Test matches. But the BCCI has not yet issued a statement regarding this.

Jadeja has been out of Team India since the Asia Cup 2022 match between India and Hong Kong played in Dubai. He has undergone surgery after the injury and is yet to be fully fit. If we look at the overall career of all-rounder Jadeja, he has been effective. He has taken 189 wickets in 171 ODIs played so far. Along with this, 2447 runs have also been scored. He has taken 242 wickets in 114 Test innings. He has also scored 2523 runs in 89 Test innings.
