Rabi Crop Farming: Agriculture is a seasonal business. If the weather is favourable, then the crop will yield good yield, but sometimes bad weather also causes loss to the farmers and the production of the crop falls. This is the reason why RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has described India’s agriculture sector as resilient. Presenting the Reserve Bank’s review report, the RBI governor said that although there is a possibility of a decrease in the production of Kharif crops in India due to irregular rains, but now the sowing of Rabi crops has shown strength in the agriculture sector.
