Recharge Plan Hike Jio Airtel Vodafone Idea Free Internet Service Government New Plan

Government Free Internet Plan: Earlier this month, private telecom companies Jio, Airtel and Vi had increased the prices of recharge plans, after which users are upset. This is because every work on mobile is now done through the internet. This is the reason why it is becoming difficult for the poor to take advantage of banking and government schemes. In such a situation, the government is planning free internet to give relief to the people.

The government has approved the Free Internet Bill which will connect the internet with basic facilities in the country. In this bill, a plan has been made to provide free internet to the backward and poor sections of the country. Its purpose is that the poor of the country should not be left away from Digital India. In this, the government will provide free internet without any charge.

What is free internet bill?

The Free Internet Bill was introduced in the Rajya Sabha in December last year. After which a new update has come on this bill. The new update is that the Telecom Minister has informed the Rajya Sabha Secretary General that the President has recommended the House to consider this bill. The name of this bill is Right to Free Internet, which demands to provide free internet to the citizens of the country.

In view of this bill, people living in backward and remote areas will be given free internet. However, there is no information yet about what its limit will be? People with what salary will not get this facility? Or what will be the rules and regulations for this.
