How to make Amla Murabba

To make Amla Murabba, 500 grams of Amla, 750 grams of sugar, two cups of water and four-five pieces of cardamom are required. To prepare this, first wash the gooseberry and clean it thoroughly. After this, take water in a bowl and put Amla in it and soak it for 10-15 minutes. After soaking, peel the Indian gooseberry, remove the seeds and cut it into pieces. After this, add sugar and water in a pan and put it on the gas. Cook until the sugar dissolves completely and the syrup thickens like a string. When the syrup becomes thick, add Amla pieces in it and cook on low flame. After this, cook the gooseberries until they become soft and the syrup dries completely. After this process, the marmalade is ready and when the marmalade cools down, store it in an airtight container and consume it with pleasure.

Ayurvedic physician Dr. Kishan Lal told that Amla is rich in Vitamin C, which increases immunity. Apart from this, it keeps digestion healthy and provides relief from the problem of constipation.
