Expansion
Students of the Music Arts Department of Kashi Hindu University will now be able to record and save their singing skills in the university itself. They will not need to go anywhere else. For this, a recording studio will be built in the department. In this, students involved in singing and playing music will record their art. Meanwhile, the department is preparing to start recording course.
A recording studio will be built in the modern Pt. Omkar Nath Thakur Auditorium, which the Music Arts Department of BHU got last month. The 450-seat auditorium, built at a cost of Rs 17 crore, is completely air-conditioned. Earlier people used to watch programs sitting on the ground here. Now pushback seats have been installed in the hall.
Cyclorama projection system has been installed in the auditorium decorated with wooden flooring and anti-fire curtains. It already has a digitalized sound system. Now it will also have a recording studio. Audio will be recorded in this. There is talk of starting a new course in recording here in the department soon. Adjacent to this, a green room will be built for make-up, in which artists will be able to make up their makeup.
Dean of the department Prof. According to K Shashi Kumar, work on the studio is going on at a fast pace. With this, students will not need to go anywhere else to record their voice.
