Now there will be no fraud in the name of regular visitors in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. To put a stop to the complaints and irregularities being received for a long time, the temple trust will soon cancel the passes of all the regular visitors. Now the regulars will be given entry in the temple through Aadhar card.

There were constant complaints about the routine visitors in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. These included complaints of misbehavior and issuance of fake routine passes. On the basis of complaints, the temple administration has started videography and photography of the routine visitors.

According to the information, four thousand routine passes have been issued by the temple. Out of this, only 500 to 700 routine passes reach for regular darshan and worship. On Monday, Pradosh, Mahashivratri or special festivals, this number doubles. A complaint was received that more than 200 such passes were made for people who were not local residents. This included residents of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and West Bengal.

A regular devotee who regularly visits Baba told that irregularities have been going on for a long time in the name of regular passes. A large number of people living outside Banaras and UP have also got regular passes made for visiting Baba. Some local shopkeepers and priests also have regular passes. Through this they get their clients to visit and worship.
