Rekha Sharma Vs Swati Maliwal: Former chairperson of Delhi Women’s Commission and Aam Aadmi Party leader Swati Maliwal and National Women’s Commission chief Rekha Sharma are at loggerheads on social media. Rekha Sharma has criticized Swati Maliwal, who recently became Rajya Sabha MP. Actually, on Wednesday (January 31), Swati Maliwal had to take oath twice in the Rajya Sabha.
Swati Maliwal had to take oath twice for two reasons. The first is that he had read out the version of oath for the first nominated Rajya Sabha members, that is, he had taken it wrong. Secondly, they raised slogans unnecessarily. He had said, ‘Inquilab Zindabad’. The sloganeering was removed from the record.
DD News had posted the video of this incident from its official X handle, which Rekha Sharma shared and targeted Swati Maliwal. At the same time, Swati Maliwal has also retaliated.
What did Rekha Sharma say about Swati Maliwal?
Rekha Sharma, while sharing the video of DD News, in her post has called Swati Maliwal a product of the movement. She wrote in her post on Heard him saying without meaning it, very disappointing budget. A day after taking oath again, she felt that she had become an expert on the budget.
Product of an aandolan only knows slogans and dharhas…won’t use her little brain in anything constructive..heard her saying ‘ very disappointing budget without even knowing the meaning of it. In one day after retaking the oath, she thought she became an expert on budget. https://t.co/bMlJCkJDRy

Swati Maliwal hits back at Rekha Sharma
Swati Maliwal countered the criticism made by Rekha Sharma and said in one of her posts that she is a proud agitator. Swati Maliwal wrote, “Yes, I am a proud agitator. Has dedicated his life to activism and social work. You have failed the women of this country. I think you should resign and stick to the only thing you are capable of – trolling.
Swati Maliwal also said, “For your information, let us tell you that this slogan is related to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Obviously you have no idea.”
