About 116 acres of government land has been reserved for the new industrial establishment located in Khyamai village of Gabhana tehsil of Aligarh. The work of re-marking the land is being done. About 25 acres of government land has been given to Reliance Industries. Reliance Industries will set up a biofuel plant here.

Already, work is being done to develop the Defense Corridor here. For this, other works including road, electrification are being done at a very fast pace. The foundation stone of the proposed new industrial establishment has been laid on October 1, 2023. In view of the efforts to increase investment, officials associated with Reliance Industry had seen land at some places in Gabhana tehsil area. Among these, the land of Khyamai village was given priority.

The reason behind this is that Delhi-NCR is near the proposed site. Considering the connectivity of road, rail and air routes, the company has decided to invest. The company will collect garbage and produce biofuel here. This will also increase employment opportunities in Gabhana area. The work of marking the reserved land has been done under the supervision of SDM Gabhana Hiralal Saini.

To set up a biofuel plant in Aligarh, Reliance and some other companies had demanded about 25 acres of land. This land is in village Khayamai of Gabhana area. Representatives of Reliance Industries have inspected the land. The process of giving it to the company as per rules has started. For this, the land is being marked by the local tehsil administration, so that the concerned company can set up its plant soon. – Birendra Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Industries
