Subhash, owner of a private restaurant in Pandara Market near India Gate, said that he has arranged for four vegetables in the fast plate at his place. These include Vrat Kadhi, Sitaphal Sabji, Paneer Makhana Sabji and Potato Bhujia. Curd pakodas, samak rice, sago tikki-kheer, vrat paratha, jaljeera and buttermilk are also being served to the people in the thali.

He told that this time he has also started learning about sweet potato and banana flowers. Apart from this, people will also get to eat fasting biryani here. Biryani is made by mixing samak rice and sago. Raita and gravy are also given in it. Papdi made from fasting flour is being liked. Dry fruits are added to it.

Sweet potato chaat has a unique taste

Sanjeev, manager of a hotel located in Connaught Place, told that he has made chaat by roasting sweet potatoes in the tandoor. This is the special chaat of Makhana. Many fasting people do not even eat turmeric and tomato, white gravy is made for them. He said that the aim is that the devotees of Mata should have no dearth of options during the fast. Even if you eat less, eat well and nutritiously. He told that they are getting other fast food items including Vrat Platter, Dabeli, Tako, Tandoori Pineapple, Sweet Potato and Banana Flower Seekh.

Fasters are liking the taste of Paneer Tikka

In a private restaurant located on the main road in Chandni Chowk, food is cooked without garlic and onion throughout the year. Manager Rahul Kumar told that he has been working for 30 years. Every year some special dishes are invented during Navratri. This time a special Paneer Tikka has been made, in which very little ghee has been used. People are liking its taste a lot.

At the same time, seven types of Satvik dishes are served in Navratri thali. It consists of two puris, raita, potato cumin, potato curd and bottle gourd vegetables. Along with this, there is also Samak rice and Chhena Rasgulla. Devotees eat sweets during the fast. Keeping them in mind, the restaurant operator has prepared different types of sweets. A hotel driver located in Bengali Market told that this time he has done a new experiment in sweets.
