Revanth Reddy On Allu Arjun: A woman was killed in a stampede during the premiere of the film ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on 4 December. There was a huge uproar in the Telangana Assembly on Saturday (21 December) regarding this incident. Meanwhile, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy criticized actor Allu Arjun for attending the screening of Pushpa-2 despite police refusal.

Revanth Reddy has alleged that Telugu actor Allu Arjun attended the screening of ‘Pushpa-2’ on December 4 without police permission, during which a stampede broke out and a woman died. Reddy said that even after the death of the woman, Allu Arjun did not come out of the cinema hall. The police had to forcibly throw them out.

Akbaruddin Owaisi had raised the issue in the assembly
Actually, Reddy’s comment came after AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi raised this issue in the Assembly. Citing the video circulated on social media, Reddy criticized Allu Arjun for doing a road show in the crowd and shaking hands with people during it. Reddy said the theater administration had given a letter to the police on December 2 demanding security for the actors and others for the tour on December 4. However, the police rejected the application due to concerns about crowd security.

The Chief Minister criticized the film personalities who reached Allu Arjun’s residence to meet him after his arrest. Along with this he said that no one came to meet the boy who was injured in the stampede. Along with this he said, I appeal to film personalities that they should not be inhuman.

‘This is extremely inhumane’
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized film personalities who reached the residence of actor Allu Arjun in support of him after his arrest. The Chief Minister said, “No film personality came to meet the boy who was injured in the stampede. This is very inhumane.” He also raised the question why the film industry is showing sensitivity only towards Allu Arjun. He asked, “Did those who came to meet Allu Arjun at his residence take care of the families of the victims who lost their loved ones or those who were injured in this incident?” The Chief Minister accused film personalities of being inhuman and insensitive.

The accident happened during the premiere
A 35-year-old woman was killed and her eight-year-old son had to be admitted to hospital with injuries when a stampede broke out during the premiere of the film ‘Pushpa 2’ at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on December 4. During the premiere of the film, thousands of fans of hero Allu Arjun were jostling to get a glimpse of him.
