Joint teams of Barla police station, SWAT and surveillance of Aligarh have revealed the assault and robbery of the village head’s husband near Talaspur on Ramghat Road on the night of 12 December. Police arrested three miscreants and recovered the looted car and other items.

Manoj was going to the village in his WRV car at around 10.30 pm on the night of the incident. Then the miscreants chased them, beat them up and looted their car, mobile phone, cash worth Rs 1100, ATM debit card etc. The miscreants were taking the car towards Barla turn, when Manoj jumped out of the moving car by opening the window. The miscreants had tried to withdraw Rs 40 thousand from his debit card.
SP Dehat said that to uncover the incident, joint teams of police, SWAT and surveillance under the leadership of Area Officer Barla Jaishankar Mishra and Police Station Head Barla Ranjit Kumar were busy searching for the miscreants. During the investigation, footage of CCTV cameras was seen at about 60 places from the spot to Barla. In which the faces of the miscreants were captured. They were identified and then arrested.
