Agra GRP has arrested another member of the fake note making gang from West Bengal. This is a reward of Rs 25 thousand. Last month, GRP had caught a gang leader in Mathura with fake currency of Rs 1.50 lakh. Till now seven accused of this gang have been arrested.

Railway Police Superintendent Aditya Langhe said that Kalimullah Qazi, the leader of the gang involved in making fake notes in Mathura, was caught. During interrogation, he revealed the name of another member of the gang, Mohammad Ziaul Haq, resident of Kaliachak Malda, West Bengal. Two teams were formed on this and with the help of surveillance, they caught him from West Bengal. 7 members of this gang have been arrested.

In this, last month Kalimullah, Mohammad Tamim and Dharmendra were caught in Mathura with fake notes of Rs 1.50 lakh. Raunak alias Mukesh was caught from Varanasi and Danish alias Karan Sharma from Maharashtra on 3 February. Deepak Azamgarh and Sachin arrested from Haryana.

Used to order material online

Superintendent of Police Railways said that during interrogation of the miscreants it was found that the racket of making fake notes has spread to many states. Currently their members are under investigation in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Haryana. During interrogation, the criminals told that they used to order paper, ink and RBI printed security thread through courier from the Chinese company from Alibaba site. They were printed in Sarnath of Varanasi and Yamunanagar of Haryana. Gang member Raunak used to do printing work in the printing press. Printing press, laptop, scanner are also confiscated from them. Even after bringing fake notes from Bangladesh border, they used to spend them all over the country.
