Rice Cutlet Recipe: Rice cutlets can be a great food dish whenever you feel a little hungry during the day. Many people like to eat something or the other during the day. Cooked rice, potatoes as well as carrots, capsicum, cashews and other spices are used to make rice cutlets. If you have not made rice cutlet till now, then it can be easily prepared with the help of our mentioned recipe.

Ingredients to make Rice Cutlet
Cooked rice – 1 cup
Potatoes boiled – 1-2
Corn – 2 tbsp
Carrot grated – 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts chopped – 2 tbsp
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Green coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Maida – 1/4 cup
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1-2 tsp
Oil – for frying
salt – as per taste

Rice Cutlet Recipe
To make rice cutlets, first take 1 cup of rice, clean them and boil them. After this, boil the potatoes as well. Now put the cooked rice in a big bowl and mash them to make them smooth. After this, mash the boiled potatoes in it and mix both of them well. Now add grated carrot, corn and chopped cashew nuts to this mixture and mix.

After this, add ginger paste, red chili powder, garam masala and other spices to the mixture and mix them well. After this add green coriander leaves and lemon juice to the mixture and mix. After this add bread crumbs and mix it. Adding bread crumbs helps in reducing the moisture content of the mixture. Now mix all purpose flour and cornflour in a utensil and prepare the batter by adding water.

Now add black pepper powder and 1/4 tsp salt to this solution and mix. After this apply oil on both the hands and make them smooth. Now take the prepared mixture in your hands and make balls out of it and shape them into cutlets. Similarly prepare cutlets from all the mixture. Now dip each cutlet in the flour mixture and keep coating it from all sides.

Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, increase the flame. Now according to the capacity of the pan, put the dipped rice cutlets in it for frying. Fry the cutlets from both the sides till they turn golden in color and the cutlets become crispy. After this, take out the rice cutlets in a plate. Similarly deep fry all the rice cutlets. Your delicious rice cutlet snacks are ready. Serve it with tomato sauce or chutney.
