Ingredients to make Rice Samosa
Flour – 1 cup
Cooked rice – 1 cup
Butter – 1/2 tbsp
Desi ghee – 1 tsp
Chopped green onions – 1/4 cup
Chili sauce – 1 tsp
Oil – for frying
salt – as per taste

Rice Samosa Recipe
To make rice samosa, first cook the rice in the cooker and then take them out in a vessel and keep them. Now take green onion and cut its white part and leaves into fine pieces. After this, take a mixing bowl and put refined flour in it and add 1 teaspoon melted desi ghee along with a pinch of salt and mix it. Now knead a hard dough by adding water little by little to the flour and cover it with a wet cotton cloth and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Now put butter in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the butter melts, add chopped green onions and fry for about 1 minute. After this add cooked rice, chili sauce and salt as per taste and mix everything well. Cook the rice while stirring for 2 minutes. After this turn off the gas. The mixture is ready for stuffing in samosas.

Now take maida flour and knead it once more. After this, make balls of equal proportion of it. Now take one ball and roll it long. Now cut it in the middle with the help of a knife and take one part and make it triangular like a cone. Fill the stuffing in it and stick the samosa by applying water on one side of the upper part and keep it aside in a plate. Similarly make samosas from all the balls and stuffing.

Now put oil in a pan and keep it to heat on high flame. When the oil becomes hot, put rice samosas in it and deep fry them according to the capacity of the pan. Fry the samosas alternately till their color turns golden from both the sides and the samosas become crispy. After this, take out the samosas in a plate. Similarly fry all the rice samosas. Now serve samosas with chutney or tomato sauce.
