The incident is said to have taken place on 13th April. The girl, upset, asks to go to Chandni Chowk. The rickshaw puller takes her 5 km away and asks her to get down at a deserted place. Seeing the area, the girl gets scared and convinces him by giving him 2000 rupees.

These days a video is going viral on social media in which two foreign women are seen narrating their ordeal in Old Delhi. In this, a rickshaw puller initially traps them in his trap by behaving well. According to the video uploaded on Instagram on July 26 by the handle Chan Sylvia, on April 13, the rickshaw puller takes them from Jama Masjid to Red Fort.
