Due to rain in Uttarakhand, roads and forests of six villages in the Khadar region are flooded. Villagers are facing problems of transportation and fodder. The administration has alerted flood posts. Solani river is in spate due to water coming from the Shivalik hills in Uttarakhand.

Water has overflowed from the river and has filled the roads of the villages. Flood-like conditions prevail in many villages of the Khadar region. There is panic among the villagers as water has entered their homes. Paddy, sugarcane and jowar crops have been destroyed due to waterlogging in the fields.

The villagers are forced to cross the river in boats risking their lives. The crisis has increased in more than six villages including Bhadola, Panchali, Markapur, Ramnagar, Rajgallapur, Sherpur Nangla.

On Friday, due to further rise in water level, water entered many houses of Ramnagar, Rajgallapur, Sherpur Nagla, Ratan Puri villages, due to which the household items got spoiled and the villagers remained trapped in their homes. Lekhpal Pradeep Saini says that there is a possibility of water level going down by Saturday. The villages have been alerted.
