Expansion
In view of Holi, roadways have geared up. 640 buses from Bareilly, Rohilkhand, Badaun and Pilibhit depots will be operated on seven routes including local from Friday to April 1. If there is a problem of shortage or breakdown of buses on any route, then the senior foreman including the ARM and workshop foreman of the concerned depot will be responsible for it. Holidays of all regular, contractual and outsourcing employees have also been banned for 10 days.
A large number of workers return home on Holi. The pressure on trains has already increased. Roadways have to handle the responsibility of those routes on which the number of trains is less. In view of this, route allocation to buses and duties of drivers and conductors have already been imposed.
Along with the workshops of the four depots, work is also going on in the regional workshops to make 100 percent of the buses on-road. RM Deepak Chaudhary has given clear instructions to the ARMs of Bareilly, Rohilkhand, Badaun and Pilibhi depots that along with issuing notices to the drivers and conductors who do not report for duty on time, the police should also be informed.
To ensure that passengers do not face any problem in transportation on Holi, all four ARMs and phonemen have been warned that in case of breakdown, clarification should be taken from the Group Foreman. ARM has been warned of action if the regional headquarters is not immediately informed in case of breakdown.
