In view of the crowd of devotees gathering on Yam Dwitiya in Mathura, the traffic police has implemented a route diversion plan. There will be a ban on vehicles on every route leading to Yamuna Ghat till 10 pm on Sunday night. Only devotees on foot will get entry.
SP City Dr. Arvind Kumar said that Yam Dwitiya bath will take place on Sunday. Therefore, the route diversion plan has been implemented till Sunday. He told that only pedestrians will go from Bengali Ghat Chowki to Milan Tirahe via Shri Dwarkadhish Mandir Marg and Chowk Bazaar Marg, Holi Gate to Bharatpur Gate Marg, Bharatpur Gate to Chowk Bazaar Marg. Along with this, only pedestrians will be allowed entry on Arya Samaj to Bengali Ghat road, Milan Tirahe to Chowk Bazaar, Masani Tirahe (unpaved road) to Lal Darwaza Chowk Bazaar, Gokurnath Tirahe to Chowk Bazaar, Holygate to Sridwarikadhish Temple road.
