Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is going to celebrate the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Shaheed Minar in Kolkata. Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat will be the main speaker in the programme.
‘Stern Hindu but respects all religions’
Speaking to India Today, Anita Bose said, “My father was someone who was a staunch Hindu but had respect for all religions and believed that everyone can live together. I don’t think the RSS believes in that.” Yes. If RSS starts adopting Netaji’s ideology, it will be good for India. Netaji believed in secularism and I am not sure RSS is up to that. If RSS wants to propagate Hindu nationalist ideas If it is, it will not match with Netaji’s ideology. If Netaji is used for this, I will not appreciate it.”

Talking to the channel, she said, ‘I will see that they are not giving respect to Netaji’s thoughts only by word of mouth.’ However, Netaji’s daughter said that she respects the fact that the RSS is celebrating his 126th birthday. He told that using the principles of Netaji would be beneficial for the subcontinent.
At the same time, a Sangh leader, reacting to Anita Bose’s claim, said that there is no evidence that Netaji used to criticize the Sangh.
