Russia Ukraine War: The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is not ending. Meanwhile, news is coming that 16 Ukrainian citizens have died in the Russian attack. This news was confirmed by Ukraine itself on Friday (15 March 2024). Officials there say that Russia has attacked the city of Odessa with a missile. In which 16 people have died, while more than 50 people have been injured.
Ukraine has described this terrible attack as the biggest attack ever by Moscow. Regional Governor Oleh Kipar, while sharing the information on Telegram messaging app, said that apart from local residents, 1 doctor and relief workers have died in this attack carried out by the Russians. Apart from this, about 10 houses and some buildings in the city have been damaged.
After the attack by Russia, AFP journalists saw some bodies covered with blankets at the scene. In the picture released by Ukrainian authorities, blood-soaked emergency service workers are seen extinguishing the flames and treating injured colleagues.
Reuters, quoting Ukrainian officials, has reported that residential buildings have been targeted by Russia on Friday (15 March 2024). After receiving information about the attack, a team of relief workers and doctors reached the spot.
The team that reached the spot was busy in rescuing people from the debris and treating them when Russia fired another missile at the spot. After which the doctors as well as the people of the rescue team came under its grip.
