Cybertruck Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Russia’s Chechen Republic, on Thursday, September 19, accused Elon Musk of disabling the Tesla Cybertruck. Ramzan Kadyrov had claimed that he had received the Tesla Cybertruck as a gift from Elon Musk himself last month.
Kadyrov shared a video in August in which he was driving an electric vehicle with a machine gun. According to news agency AFP, Musk had denied the claims of receiving the vehicle from him. In a Telegram message, Kadyrov claimed that Musk had switched off the vehicle remotely. Kadyrov said, “It is not a good thing for Elon Musk to do this. He gives expensive gifts from the bottom of his heart and then switches them off remotely.”
What is the whole matter?
Last month, when Ramzan Kadyrov demonstrated the alleged Tesla Cybertruck to him, he said that he would deploy it in Ukraine. It is worth noting that the war between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. Meanwhile, Kadyrov has accused Elon Musk of switching off the Cybertruck remotely.
According to news agency Reuters, Ramzan Kadyrov is famous for publicity stunts. Kadyrov had praised Elon Musk on the Telegram messaging app and wrote, “The strongest genius of modern times.” Along with this, Ramzan had also invited Elon Musk to come to Chechnya (Russia). Kadyrov had written, “We are waiting for your future products, which will help us to complete special military operations.”
Elon Musk gave clarification
Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk had called it a rumor on X. A user wrote, “I am confused, just now the Western US Military Academy invited Elon Musk as a convocation speaker. While Musk is providing vehicles ready for military use to the enemies of America?” In response to this, Musk wrote, “Do you think I donated a Cybertruck to a Russian general? Amazing.”
I’m confused. @WestPoint_USMA just had @ElonMusk as its convocation speaker, when Musk is providing vehicles ready for military use to sanctioned enemies of America? Why isn’t this the biggest story in America today? Why is West Point coddling a man working openly against the US? https://t.co/JBGaMCWvrN
