Recipe to make Sabudana Thalipeeth
Put Sabudana in a cup of water and leave it overnight. You can also soak sabudana in water for two to three hours before making it. Keep in mind that Sabudana should not become too sticky or melt. Lightly roast the peanuts in a pan. Keep it in a bowl to cool down. Now crush it lightly, first remove all the peel and then grind it coarsely. Put sabudana in a bowl. Drain the water thoroughly. Boil the potatoes and crush them and add them to the sabudana. Now add chillies, peanuts, cumin, sugar and salt as per taste and mix well. If you make Sabudana Thalipeeth for Chaitra Navratri, you can add black salt instead of white salt. Add finely chopped coriander leaves along with it.

To knead it tight like a dough, you can also add a little wheat flour to it. If you want to make it during fasts and festivals, you can also add buckwheat or water chestnut flour. Now keep the baking paper on a flat place or put oil on a plate. Take a big ball of dough prepared from Sabudana and place it on a flat surface or plate. Now try to give it a thick and round shape by pressing it with your hands. Place the pan on the gas stove. Put some oil in it. Put Sabudana Thalipeeth in the pan and roast it well. Fry on both the sides till it turns golden brown. Take it out in a plate. Hot Sabudana Thalipeeth is ready. Enjoy eating it with sauce or curd.
