The sailor community will celebrate the consecration of life with great pomp in Ayodhya. A boat rally will be taken out from Dashashwamedh Ghat on January 22 at 10 am with musical instruments and bhajans. The rally will go till Rajghat, then reach Assi Ghat. Meanwhile, the sailors will pay obeisance at the Nishadraj temple. The sailor community is busy preparing for this. There are preparations to make similar arrangements at all the ghats.
Rambabu Sahni, resident of Jalasen Ghat, told that Nishadraj had helped Lord Ram during his exile. They were made to cross the river by boat. Now Ramlala is sitting in Ayodhya, the people of Nishad community are happy with this.
Boats and barges will be decorated
On the occasion of Pran Pratistha, the boats plying in Ganga will be decorated with fringes and flags. There will be big flags on both sides of the boats. Small flags will be placed in the middle of it. Nishadraj’s photo along with Lord Shri Ram will also be installed on the boats. According to Prem Sahni, apart from decorating the boats, the Nishadraj Ghat temple will also be decorated.
