Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video Review: Lady Police Nimrat Kaur is amazing, this film asks deep questions

Sajini Shinde’s Viral Video Review: As unique as the title of Nimrat Kaur, Radhika Apte and Bhagyashree starrer film ‘Sajni Shinde’s Viral Video’ is, after watching this film, perhaps you too are going to have a similar and different experience. Madok Film Production has made many such films like ‘Stree’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Luka Chhippi’, ‘Mimi’, whose subjects surprise you. Showing this speciality, this time from the quiver of Dinesh Vijan, an arrow like a film named ‘Sajni Shinda Ka Viral Video’ has come out, which is a direct attack on the society with its culture of viral videos, from ‘showy and party-like feminism’. Does. Let us tell you how this film is.

First of all let’s talk about the story of this film. Some teachers from a school in Pune go to Singapore for a science festival. Among them is Physics teacher Sajni Shinde, to whom her fellow teachers make her drink alcohol even after she says no and she does a dance under the influence of alcohol. One of her fellow teachers accidentally posts the video of this dance on social media and it creates an uproar. As soon as such a video of a school teacher comes out, many questions arise and all these teachers are expelled from the school. Sister-in-law has got engaged. After this video, her fiance, her father, her sister-in-law become scared of everyone. Meanwhile, a suicide note is posted on Sajni’s social media and Sajni goes missing. It is from here that the ruckus begins to find Sajni. Now to know where Sajni is, is she missing or has she committed suicide and what happened to her, you will have to go to the theaters.

Radhika has played a physics teacher in this film.

The story of ‘Sajni Shinde’s Viral Video’ begins with this video going viral. That means no time has been wasted in building the story or developing the characters. The story captivates you from the very first frame. Interestingly, the story seems to be that of a viral video in the beginning. But how does this kitty party gradually move forward covering topics like feminism, boys and girls doing anything on social media to get attention, girls carrying the responsibility of saving the shame of the society. We have to praise director Mikhil Musale who has woven this excellent film. His direction is so amazing that even in such heavy situations like viral videos, suicide-kidnapping-like cases, the film does not seem cumbersome or heavy anywhere, rather the story progresses in a fun and light manner everywhere.

The biggest strength of ‘Sajni Shinde Ka Viral Video’ is its performance which will win hearts. Even the actor who appears for one scene is so strong in his character, what can I say. The biggest strength of the film is Nimrat Kaur who became the women’s cell officer and Inspector Chinmoy Mandlekar along with her. Tabu has always been seen in a very funny style as a lady cop in films. But Nimrat has come as a new option in the style of lady cop. The subtle manner in which he has played this character is worth watching. There is another character who you will like very much in the film and that is Radhika’s fiance, played by Soham Majumdar. This character keeps you connected from the beginning till the end.

Radhika has been excellent in the role of Sajni. Subodh Bhave plays the role of Radhika’s father. Subodh is a great Marathi actor and it is fun to watch him. Bhagyashree has an important role in this film but she did not get that much screen time. Apart from this, Sumit Vyas and Shashank Shinde are also seen in important roles. The cinematography of the film has become amazing at many places. Many frames seem to tell the story without saying anything. Like the applause for Subodh standing alone in the window of ‘Rangmanch Hotel’ and Radhika’s father standing on the stage and his wife passing through the audience. The background score of the film is good which does not break the rhythm anywhere. The music of the film is also good.

Soham has been tremendous in his character.

Talking about the weakness of the film, the first problem may be its Marathi flavor and dialogues. Although there are English subtitles, in Hindi speaking areas you may get a little lost in the film. One drawback I felt was that the story of some characters seemed incomplete. Like Sajani’s father beats his daughter, and he himself helps his brother’s daughter run away from home.

Often, before going to the cinema to watch a film, the audience weighs it on some scale. For example, either there is a big star in the film whom you buy a ticket to see or you have heard praise of that film. Sajni Shinde’s viral video is a different kind of film, whose content will draw you to the cinema halls. For those looking for good cinema, ‘Sajni Shinde’s Viral Video’ is a great film which you should definitely watch in theatres. This film is 4 stars from my side. (Half a star for you Nimrat and Soham).
