The director was repeatedly asking Salim Khan how to act while swallowing the bus. After that he was demonstrating it to them. When Raj Kapoor came to the set after practicing the whole day, Salim Khan could not act because his throat had become dry while practicing.

Once during the shooting, Salim Khan was made to wear small size shoes. Which he was not able to remove. Salim Khan was so upset with the small shoes that he slept wearing them. Later, with great difficulty, the shoe was cut and removed. After these incidents, Salim Khan had given up acting and became a writer.
