Salman Khan House Firing Case: An important information is coming out in the firing case at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s house. Mumbai Crime Branch has filed a chargesheet against the accused in the ‘MCOCA’ court. ‘MCOCA’ was imposed in this case in April. While now a chargesheet has been filed under it. Mumbai Crime Branch has filed a chargesheet against Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi along with the accused arrested so far.

What is MCOCA?

First of all, let us tell you what MCOCA is. The full form of MCOCA is ‘Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act’. The specialty of this law is that the accused has to remain behind bars until the investigation of the case is completed. The accused is not granted bail before this. In the year 1999, the Maharashtra government brought this law due to increasing crime in the underworld. Apart from Maharashtra, this law is also followed in Delhi.

What is the whole matter?

Two bike-borne shooters opened fire at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s house Galaxy Apartment on 14 April 2024 at around 5 am. It is said that 5 rounds of firing took place at the actor’s house. After this, the accused fled leaving their bikes behind due to fear of arrest.

Both the shooters were arrested from Gujarat

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had taken the responsibility of firing at Salman Khan’s house. The police arrested both the shooters from Gujarat. Both the shooters were identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21). In this case, the police also arrested Anuj Thapar on charges of providing weapons to the shooters. He committed suicide in jail. It is said that Anuj was also in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi.

What was Salman Khan doing at the time of the firing?

Mumbai Police had also recorded the statements of Salman and his family members in this case. Apart from Salman, the statements of his two brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were recorded by the police. Salman had told in his statement what he was doing when firing took place at his house.

Salman Khan’s statement was recorded by Mumbai Crime Branch at his home. In the statement recorded on June 4, Salman had said that he was sleeping when firing took place at his home. There was a party at the actor’s home that night. Due to which he slept late at night. However, Salman woke up after hearing the sound of bullets. In the five rounds of firing, one bullet hit the wall of the actor’s home. While one bullet pierced the net and entered the drawing room.
