Azam Khan Latest News: The troubles of senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan are not stopping. The latest case is related to his resort. His ‘Humsafar’ resort was accused of occupying government land under the leadership of the district administration. After this, action has been taken to free the occupied area by running a bulldozer. Currently, after the use of several bulldozers, the place occupied by Azam Khan has been vacated.
During the SP rule in Uttar Pradesh, Azam Khan was no less powerful than the Chief Minister, although it is a different matter that as per the constitutional post, the Chief Minister is the head of the government, but there was no leader more powerful than Azam Khan in the entire cabinet. This is the reason that during his time many important development works were done here, but Azam Khan personally has been accused of occupying many government lands while expanding and establishing his Jauhar University, Rampur Public School or Humsafar Resort.
Administration’s action on Azam Khan’s resorts
There was a change of power in the state and yogi adityanath Azam Khan’s bad times began when he took over as the Chief Minister. During his tenure in power, the files of discussions regarding including government lands within the boundaries of his dream project were now slowly being opened. This is the reason why first the farmers’ and government lands in the Jauhar University campus were freed from encroachment. The building encroached in the name of Rampur Public School was also vacated, but now it was the turn of his Humsafar Resorts. Here, action has been taken to free the land of the Gram Samaj of Pasiapura, which was used for dumping garbage.
The building occupied by Azam Khan was declared land-defected
SP leader Azam Khan’s Humsafar Resort is located in village Pasiapur under Sadar Tehsil of Rampur, where a huge police force along with the administrative staff had started gathering since morning to take action to free the resort. On the other hand, many close aides of Azam Khan had also reached the spot. The case was related to a 380 square meter plot of land of village society, Gata number 164. The administrative officers, along with the police force, tightened their belts and within no time, the wall and building occupied by Azam Khan were razed to the ground using a bulldozer.
The disputed bail was vacated
According to District Magistrate Joginder Singh, the land used for dumping garbage belonging to Gram Samaj was encroached in Azam Khan’s Hamsafar Resort premises. This case was first contested in the Tehsildar’s court and then its decision came against Azam Khan. Later, an appeal was filed in the High Court regarding this decision, where this appeal has been dismissed a long time ago. At present, action has been taken to free the land from encroachment and the disputed land has been vacated.
