Samajwadi Party Candidate List Sapa Again Changes Ticket On Misrikh Lok Sabha Seat Of UP


UP Lok Sabha Election 2024: Lok Sabha Elections Samajwadi Party released the fifth list of candidates on Saturday. Candidates have been announced for 6 seats in this list. In this, the candidate has been changed on one seat. SP has released the fifth list of candidates. SP has fielded Dr. Mahendra Nagar from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Manoj Kumar Rajvanshi from Misrikh, Bhim Nishad from Sultanpur, Jitendra Dohre from Etawah, Narayan Das Ahirwar from Jalaun and Dharmendra Yadav from Azamgarh.

Earlier, SP had made Rampal Rajvanshi its candidate from Misrikh. SP has so far declared candidates on 42 seats.

Who is Rampal Rajvanshi
Samajwadi Party’s old leader Rampal Rajvanshi has been a minister twice. He became MLA for the first time from Misrikh assembly seat on Lok Janshakti Party ticket in 1996. After this he was made Minister of State. In 2007, he joined the Samajwadi Party and after contesting the elections, he again became an MLA. In 2012 also, he won on Samajwadi Party ticket and was elected Minister of State for Prisons in the Akhilesh government. After this, he had to face defeat on Misrikh seat in 2017 and 2022.

There are four assembly seats under Misrikh Lok Sabha seat. Misrikh, Bilhaur, Sandila Bilgram Mallawan and Balamau. All these seats are held by the Bharatiya Janata Party. The MPs here are also from BJP. In such a situation, the path to Lok Sabha will not be easy for Rampal, who has lost the assembly elections twice in a row, but he is a big leader of the Pasi community and he can get the benefit from it.
