It is told that on September 4, 2023, a show cause notice was issued to Jaikumar, a sanitation worker posted in Gram Panchayat Devarkheda of Baniyather block, demanding Rs 1 lakh.

When he refused to pay the money, the employee was suspended on the same day. Whereas when a show cause notice is issued, three days’ time is given. It is alleged that the service books of many employees were torn and others were issued.

Recovery was made for this also. The junior assistant has made many more similar allegations. Also claimed to have evidence. On the basis of this evidence, the Panchayati Raj Director has instructed Moradabad Divisional Deputy Director (Panchayat) Mahendra Singh to investigate.
