A youth resident of Banaras fell down from the window of Sadbhavna Express in the forest of Karengi station in Badaun district. He remained lying in the field injured on the side of the track for 19 hours. On the information of the shepherds, GRP admitted him to Chandausi CHC.

Raju (33), resident of Basai village of Varanasi district, works as a laborer. On January 23, the young man along with his cousin brother Veere had come to his aunt’s sister’s house in Khurjagate, Chandausi. On Thursday evening, Raju was going back to Varanasi by Sadbhavana Express with his cousin.

On the way, Raju, standing at the door of the train near Karengi station in Badaun district, fell down at around 9.30 in the night. After this, he rolled and reached the mustard field. The cousin who was traveling in the train reached Bareilly and informed the relatives.

A search was made for Raju, but no one was found. On Friday evening, at around 4.30 pm, people grazing goats saw Raju lying in an injured condition in a mustard field on the side of the track. GRP had informed about it.

GRP admitted Raju by train to Chandausi CHC in critical condition on Friday night. Relatives also came on information. From there he was referred to a higher centre.
