Tech company Samsung has officially announced the date of Galaxy Unpacked event. The company will launch the Galaxy S25 series in this event. Samsung has said that new Galaxy AI features will be seen in the event, which will change the way people interact with the world. This event will start on January 22 at 11:30 pm Indian time. It can be seen on Samsung’s website and the company’s YouTube channel.

Pre-booking starts

Along with announcing the date of the Unpacked event, Samsung has also started pre-reservation for the Galaxy S25 series in India. The company said that customers can make pre-reservation for the new Galaxy phones by paying Rs 1,999. On this they will get a benefit of up to Rs 5,000. Pre-booking can be done till 22 January. There are speculations that the company will start pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series from January 24 and the sale of new devices will start from February 4.

What to expect from the Unpacked event?

The company will launch Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Samsung Galaxy Ultra in this event. The slim variant of this series, S25 Slim, can be launched later this year. Apart from these smartphones, Samsung can show a glimpse of One UI 7 and some features related to mobile AI in the event.

Estimated features and price of Galaxy S25 series

12GB RAM will be standard in the Galaxy S25 series. No model of this series will have 8GB RAM like the current S24 series. S25 Ultra is expected to get 16GB RAM. The company has increased the RAM to integrate AI features. Apart from this, major upgrades will also be seen in its processor, camera and other specifications.

Talking about the price, the phones of the new lineup may be costlier by Rs 5,000-7,000 compared to the S24 series. The price of Galaxy S25 is expected to be around Rs 84,999, Galaxy S25+ is expected to be priced around Rs 1,04,999 and S25 Ultra is expected to be priced around Rs 1,34,999. However, the company has not yet given information regarding the price.
