Samsung Triple Fold Phone: South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is preparing to launch a triple-fold phone soon. Recently Huawei launched Mate XT Ultimate Edition, which is now expected to give tough competition. On the other hand, some other companies like Xiaomi, Honor and Oppo are also working rapidly on smartphones with tri-fold display.

According to a report by ZDNet Korea, Samsung plans to launch an entry-level clamshell-style foldable smartphone along with a tri-fold smartphone with a screen that folds twice. It is expected that this phone will be launched by next year. It has been claimed in this report that the components of a tri-fold smartphone have been planned. Let us tell you that some time ago, Samsung had launched Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 phones in its foldable smartphones series. However, the market demand for these smartphones was less than expected.

Huawei launched tri-fold phone

Huawei introduced Mate XT Ultimate Design in China this year. This was the first tri-fold phone. The base variant of this smartphone with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at CNY 19,999 (approximately Rs 2,35,900). At the same time, the prices of its 512 GB and 1TB storage variants are CNY 21,999 (approximately Rs 2,59,500) and CNY 23,999 (approximately Rs 2,83,100) respectively. Its screen when unfolded is 10.2 inches (3,184 x 2,232 pixels). Its flexible LTPO OLED screen is 7.9 inches (2,048 x 2,232 pixels) when folded once and 6.4 inches (1,008 x 2,232 pixels) when folded the second time.

Now it will be interesting to see whether Samsung’s triple fold phone will live up to people’s expectations or there will be a decline in its sales. In the coming time, it may see direct competition from many other companies.
